J.L. Burke was hired by Forest City to completely renovate and update all of the common areas of this three story, 164,000 square foot mixed use commercial and pharmaceutical laboratory facility. The building was originally a single tenant facility, and J.L. Burke was tasked with converting the building to accommodate multiple tenants. The project included constructing a "state-of-the-art" vestibule / lobby, the complete remodeling of all major common areas including corridors, washrooms, elevators, and storefronts, and bringing the facility into compliance with ADA requirements.
J.L. Burke worked with the Architect, OWP&P, and the Owner, Forest City Enterprises, to create an action plan for the project. Working with an extremely aggresive schedule, we were able to maintain the deadlines established by the owner and dictated by signed leases with key tenants in order to get those key tenants moved in on time.
