As an expansion to the original build-out that J.L. Burke Contracting, Inc. provided for C.H. Robinson, this 6,000 sq/ft office expansion was done in an occupied space. This tenant acquired space next door to provide a temporary work area for its employees. J.L. Burke knocked out the existing demising wall and built out 75% of the new space. Upon completion of this phase we tied in with the old space, then moved the employees to the new space and continued working, installing electrical wiring and mechanical ductwork. This work was done over and around desks in the old space. Covers were used to protect employees desks and personal belongings and extra nightly clean-up was necessary. J.L. Burke worked closely with owners and staff to accommodate everyone’s needs during the renovation and expansion.
